The Shadow Man

Monday mornings are supposed to be dull and dreary affairs; the kind of day that you just want to end as soon as it’s begun. My wife-to-be woke up this morning expecting my usual caveman-esque  grunt, but instead I woke her up with a kiss, a “Good Morning!” and a glint in my eye.

I swear she thinks I’m either cheating on her, or I’ve done something I shouldn’t have…

Last night I found a memory stick containing dozens of finished images from the last year or so, that I believed lost when we moved house.

A happier man on a Monday morning there has never been! (Also, a more apologetic man there has never been, as I had previously blamed my fiancée for losing the images in the first place…)

So, here’s the first of, what will probably be a few, posts today to show you my lost, then re-found works.

I hope you enjoy them.

The Shadow Man

I loved this image when I took it, and I love it even more now that it’s been re-found. The shadows are heavy to the point of over-kill, but I think it gives the image the moody, mysterious look I was after.

What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments.

Stay tuned for more posts, and don’t forget to like, share and comment if the mood takes you.

Ciao for now

Marc
