I haven’t added an image to the Minimalism gallery on my website for a while now, so it pleases me to show you my latest addition, taken at Cresswell Bay in Northumberland.
I nearly didn’t use this image; I took it a couple of months ago and almost hit the delete button during post-processing. I stayed my hand however, and left it to mature in the depths of my hard drive…… just in case.
I’m glad I did, as I’m really rather fond of it. There’s not too much going on in it; it’s a long exposure of some rocks in the sea, but the shadows on the blurred sea were enough to sway it for me. It’s a tight crop and it’s really pushing the “Rule of Thirds”, but who cares? I like it.
And, like I’ve said before, that’s all that counts.
