I greet you all after a week and a bit having been to the glorious island of Corfu with the wife to be and the kids. My skin is red and peeling, I have an emptier wallet than normal, but I’ve had an excellent time; sunning myself, playing in the pool with the kids, sneaking my tripod and lenses onto the plane without the missus finding out……..
I can’t help myself.
I know it was supposed to be a family holiday, and that the focus was on the holiday and not on taking Landscapes while the family sits on and watches but, I had a strange feeling we were going to end up in a place called Paradise Bay…….
Paleokastitsa is located on the Northwest coast of the island of Corfu, and is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. The one shot I managed to take before my partners’ steely glare forced my tripod to wilt back into it’s case, was taken on a stretch of beach aptly named Paradise Beach.
Hopefully you can see for yourself why it’s named so.
